Multiple 50 pound bass, endless monster bluefish, world record white perch, giant shark, oh lord the massive pickerel, trophy fluke, the most huge bigmouths one will ever see if they lucky in 5 lifetimes, cobia in 2 counties, smallmouth that make bigmouth look like smallmouth, volume of catfish that will fill a city dumpster, triggerfish like ocean sunfish, yellow perch that may well be walleye, massive carp, crappie bigger then bass, any and all on fly, casting, spinning, ul to heavy, winter, spring, summer and fall. Bait, feathers, plastic, metal and hair, and of course all land based and a five dollar budget. All while using only Grandpa's tackle! Geez, I almost forget, 4 of the most glorious herrings in the past 500 days and I leave out more then I say! Year after year, season after season. No match, young or old, salty or sweet, and I don't even try, y'all know me!
Fluke Motherload - KEEPERS & DOUBLE HEADERS - Birds, Bait & Boats BBB to the FFF
Fluke Motherload - KEEPERS & DOUBLE HEADERS - Birds, Bait & Boats BBB to the FFF - Fluke fishing is pure fun and joy. Of course some days are rated A, others AAA. The great fishing comes when you got the BBB, and that is just pure FFF. BBB=FFF or BBB or Birds, bait and boats, equals the FFF or fluke, fishing and fun. Weather was quite nasty and cold but we like nasty, especially hot and nasty and heck it is a warm day most yer round so why complain? The flukes ranged from keeper flounder to double headers all on the Gulp bait. BBB, now that almost as hot as the FFF!

Storm Swell & Rough Tumble Ocean Jetty Surf Fishing for Fluke / Summer Flounder - A rough tumble surf is not always the best surf for fluke but it will hold flounder and the chance of big fluke rolling in is moderate. I think I lost a half dozen rigs fishing for fluke. In the rougher water I went around and wound up back using the egg rig which worked just fine. Held out of the rocks better the...

BRIDGE FISHING - The Best HI-LO Rig for SPOT / Lafayette - TWEAKING the RIGS - The HI-LO is the best way to go when fishing for spot. A few little tweaks to your rig will yield a few more Lafayette's. A heavier stiffer leader with 2 drops is most preferred. It will hold your baits out and inline for easy hook ups. Sharp #2 hooks worked perfect. Sharp is the key and held out on a dropper. 4 ounc...

Hi Jerry, Now that's a great way to start a video with double header Fluke. That must have been a nice school of Fluke that came inshore. You are having a great season. Good luck, Mickey
It was the motherload!
Great day of fishing!!! Those were some really nice fluke. Gulp does the job again. Thank you for the great video.
👍Gulp is the perfect summer bait for fluke👍
Hook dislodgers/removers are in every tackle shop! Still laying that reel in the sand!
🤣true, and true very good points, hand and reel are a'ok😂
Dude, THANK YOU! I watched my cousins use these growing up back in the day, but they never explained it in a way that made any sense at all.
SWEET!!! They are just as good as the new units once you understand'em, pepe's talk cryptic because they don't want ya to know. Dudes never show fish finder stuff on there videos, I try to get a bit here there when I can and put together this.
Proof you dont have to risk your life going to the tip of the jetty. 🤣👍👍👍
That is truth!
I like your mat. B B B = F F F
😂Sometimes I have math flashbacks 🤣
Great action, Jerry. Beautiful fish!
Appreciate!!! Hope to see you soon!
Way to go jerry from blues to catfish and back to fluke getting in on those last weeks fall run of stripers are banging on the door go get it
👍👍🔥👍👍
Nice time of year wading and lots of fish in close....beautiful day....Fish Your way

Haven’t been to bottle beach in ages, the bridge reminds me of that place
Oh yeah! Great beach for a walk so much cool stuff there!
The movie The Wiz was filmed there with Michael Jackson
Loved that flick!
Now I know what those catfish my Dad and I catch at the local park lake in NC, white catfish. They weren't quite blues or channel cats nor bullheads. Dad thought they were some hybrid channel/blue crossover "Govt Cat.". They love the heck out of crappie minnows.
Yes! They are a very active cat in the summer will attack lures but bait is great especially how you do up with the crappie minnows even better then worms for them. They will run mid column as well looking for shad. They can get up2 10lbs but a 4+ pound fish is a nice one. For the table they are one of the best! Thanks for sharing!
Mellow.....
Like yellow
Hi Jerry, That lake holds a lot of fish. They were some nice sized catfish. You can't go wrong with worms any time of year. The spinner was a great idea. Good luck, Mickey
You bet
Thank you for subscribing to me😅
A+ enjoy!
Nice white cats Jerry. We fish for them with worms down here in central Jersey at lake Shenandoah in the current below the dam. Going to try your spinner blade rig next time out. Thanks for the great tip and tight lines!
They are my favorites of the catfish here as there are no blue, channel or flats and they can hit the 10lb range! The blades in summer work great as they will often chase the shine. I had some great days with the blades and worms in moving current with some nice smallies and walleye mixed in on the Susquehanna so you should do well!
Hi. Great video as always. You mentioned something in this video as far as weight, so I have a question for you on the topic. I was on a fishing charter boat and everyone was using different size diamond jigs to catch bluefish. For the most part they let it drop to the bottom and then they reel it back in. I try that and for some reason it wasn't having luck. I know how to use a diamond jig and I've used it many times. There were plenty of blue fish being caught on the boat. They were using 4 oz diamond jigs because there was pretty strong current. I used a 1 oz jig. I understand the difference, but for some reason I watched it being reeled in and it seemed like it was holding just fine, in other words, it seemed like a good presentation. That said, I was not catching any blue fish. Again, they were plenty around. They were not busting on top. Only the bottom in the middle. What would the weight difference make in this situation? I did allow it to reach the bottom for the most part, for reeling in.
Yes the weight will certainly make a difference, in fact fishing is all about suspension. You would have done well with a 4oz painted sinker and hook with the right weight. The shape of the lure will change how the object you drop suspends but it is the suspension which attracts the fish.
Awesome. Thank you
I know that spot its beautiful there I stopped there yesterday but there's a parking issue so I moved on further west. I have to get the right papers
The permit goes on sale again after labor day I believe
@@FishYourWay I definitely have to get one of those I was at a spot by my house tonight and they made me leave at sunset
I fished that spot exact the day before and it was barren
It up and down, fishing
Awesome to see the Blues back in close! I haven't had a fish hit a Topwater plug in over 2 months! I haven really even fished a topwater lure in over 2 months😅 Do you think the cool weather has something to do with the Bluefish coming in closer and hitting on top?
SAME here! So I was thrilled! Most certain, temp, tide and the moon for sure, they been there but out of reach. You can do well on the point some days through but that is not my thing. First time I had them inside the rip all summer which was so nice!
Go Get’em Mr Ruff nice action
Oh hell yeah tight and right!
Nice video as always. Bluefish are explosive and determined fighters. Thanks for sharing.
So trilling always running into them!!! Big video key point - be prepared in summer!
Hi Jerry, You gotta love the Blue Fish fight. They really fight hard and make a lot of fun. Take care and have fun, Mickey
The best!
Great fishing! Caught a 17" fluke under the bridge at captree on a jerk shad two days ago. What size rod are you running ? what Lb test ? What reel size ? Any info on your setup would be great. Just curious.
Nice fluke! That a 8' 1-4oz or so rod with a 4000 sized reel. Working the 17lb mono 12-20lb works great Anything similar will get it done for you! I like the 8' rods can use in a wide variety of situations
Great catch ! Where on Long Island did you go ? I was out yesterday around point lookout. Got skunked.
Western long island not to far from you, try fluke fishing or porgy fishing until you see those blues or bass popping. Many who fish exclusive for bass blues go fishless for weeks
great vid man I love your stuff
👍I appreciate that!!!👍
@@FishYourWay Great video as always Jerry. The first video I saw of yours was the yellow and white clouser fishing for pickerel some ten years ago, I saw it maybe two years ago and you became my first subscribed channel and after playing catch up on all of your videos, subscribing to your channel was the best thing I did with a computer (computer illiterate that I am). Oh hell yea, yea and yes, the digged in and out just like me through the tides doing different things, blew up before dark. Didnt see no bass dough but they around
Great top water action Jerry just think in two weeks the fall run is gonna be starting with stripers fatting themselves up
😂Cant wait to catch some of those fat bastards 🤣
100% respectfully, watch some videos on how to properly work a pencil popper. If you can't do that technique for some reason physically, you'd be better off with a bottle popper type lure. Those are easier to work.
110% respectfully back - My technique is better. I read that book. I write my own books. I will show you in person one day how to work a pencil outside of your book like you have never seen.
So you watched 1 of Jerry's videos and presume to tell him about fishing a popper? Buddy you're embarrassing yourself Next time put the research in before you start telling people what to do Respectfully
Cool nights got them going?
They been on the outside all summer I been watching em. Just way out from casting range at that point moving back and forth on the rip but always on the other side. For some reason never snapped in until the temp drop and I was thinking exactly the same. Moon and cold, wind to the back. Saw a bonito fly up out of the water on the inside so they around to. I tell you the nights are cool its freezing when your soaked and the sun sets but I always remember it is a freaking warm day in January and that warms me up!
Also from NY would buy your bluefish from you
There is a dude I know who sells them from the back of his trunk! They fresh to, trunk is lined with garbage bags and ice!

Hi, what size gulp do you use on your high/low rigs? Thank you!!
Those are the Gulp 4" swim mullets why they call em swim mullets I dont know they look like grubs to me!
Jerry, its so cold up here, no bugs. Heat kicked on last night.
Winter time
jones field 10?
Area 51
I carry a therma cell wear long socks and use bug spray on my ear tips and hands. P.s. use hand sani when you cut bait try pre cutting bait at home then ziplock it. The worst is you have a dirty knife on you or smelly hands. Mozzys also like co2 wear a gator. I wear water proof socks with water sandals i screw studs into. Lol to much info but I hate mozzys.
Some good tidings to keep to mind appreciate
Hi Jerry, A Sea Robin, Fluke and BUGS ! The "No See Ums" down here are tiny and bite you everywhere. A land breeze is murder. It blows to bugs to you from the dunes. Take care, Mickey
Like a cloud of bugs!
Jerry make sure those nasty bugs stay off the fish sticks 😅
Crabs suck!
Between the fish and the bugs, I couldn't tell which was biting more! 🦟🎣
Straight and right said!
That is incredible. 👍👍
It was so cool! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the videos. Just subscribed. My wife and I have been checking out the various freshwater lakes in Queens (where we live) and trying to find a nice place to fish without having to travel way out on Long Island or Upstate somewhere. Your videos have helped tremendously Keep up the good work. I just have to find lead free split shots. Bass Pro Shops have them but with shipping it isn't worth it. Amazon has them but for $20? No thank you. I look forward to more of your videos. Steve.
That is awesome! Thank you so much and those steel shots are expensive!
Bad bug day, Jerry. They're crawling on your camera lens. A good breeze is your friend.
Yes and yes!😂
The green eyed flies we'd call them horse flies. They're nasty. I use %40 deet bug spray with what you recommended jerry. I find Nats are around more during a low tide. I can be ruff 😂😂 this time of year. Those cool mornings help.
😂those nasty beasts eat flesh drink bug spray and crap thunder⚡️
This is why I prefer to surf cast with a stiff onshore breeze! The bad thing with these lantern flies is nothing seems to eat them. I saw a lake covered with them, and the fish weren't touching them. And birds don't seem to eat them either.
Those things even nasty must taste nasty to the birds!
Great job bro let’s get it
Thats what Im talking bout!
